Welcome to the Bi-College News’ first photo contest and we want submissions from YOU! Our theme for this contest is the Bi-Co experience and it is open to all Haverford and Bryn Mawr students. Winner of the contest will receive a $15 AMAZON GIFT CARD! Your work will also be featured in our next print edition, which is coming out next week.
The submission deadline is this Saturday (December 9th) at 5pm. Please email the following to bmcphoto.biconews@gmail.com:
1. Your full name, school, and class year
2. Your photo submission
3. A 2-4 sentence description of the story behind your photo. We want to learn your Bi-Co story!
What does it mean to be a Bi-Coer? How is the Blue Bus/communte experience? Do you feel differently when you’re on Haverford versus Bryn Mawr campus? Is the classroom experience different? Or maybe think about the food at the DC vs. Haffner vs. Erdman? These are questions you could consider while you put together your submission. It is a very broad theme, so use your imagination with your submission and really show us YOUR unique experience!
You don’t need to be an professional photographer to enter this contest. No photography experience necessary. The focus of this contest is to showcase and highlight YOUR experience in the Bi-Co, not about the resolution of your photo.
