The Bi-Co News caught up with Head Coach Carla Coleman for a post-game interview:
Allyson Lin: What were your thoughts on the game tonight?
Coach Coleman: I thought we came off flat. These things happen. The little things that we focus on and try to focus on are very impactful. I thought the turnovers were the difference in the game. They impact the game tremendously.”
What did you think the team did well tonight?”
I was really impressed with my post-players. This is a young team. There are six first-years out there. I was impressed with Jess. She was a beast. You take the small victories.
What do you think of the other team’s performance?
I thought that they worked hard. They played to their strengths. It was a tight game at the end of the first half and I thought they came out very focused. I think that was the difference in the game. They turned us over early and they were able to build a two point lead and it was an uphill climb after that.
