Across the United States, masses of people marched against President Donald Trump’s legion of executive actions. Protesters’ concerns ranged from social security cuts to illegal deportations of migrants. Organized by over 150 organizations, the mass mobilization was dubbed “Hands Off,” citing the government’s overreach on what many consider to be constitutional protections.
In Philadelphia, thousands of people gathered on Market Street and around City Center in a move of national solidarity, before marching to Independence Hall. Below is a photo gallery, taken by Bi-Co News’ head Features editor Nomah Elliot, of the historic day.
